Minis

I took some pics of 2 of my Nintendo related toys for a Miniature 365 project I am doing on Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/anayari/sets/72157625723541878/ and wanted to share them with you. These were both basically sold as candy dispensers. The Wiimote came with these candy tables I took a pic of too:

The Gamecube one was filled with mario themed gummies and makes Nintendo game sounds and lights up when you press a button. I will take more pics whenever I come across more cute toys like these :)
I will be writing a review of each one of the games featured in these pics soon too. They are Fragile Dreams for the Nintendo Wii and Cubihttp://resettigrl.blogspot.com/ore for the Nintendo Gamecube so watch out for those!

Figurines

I just wanted to share some recent pics I took of some of my videogame figurines. The first one is a pair of figures I got as a pre-order bonus from pre-ordering the Hammerin' Hero game for the PSP. They are about 2" tall and very detailed. They came with their own little stands and are one of my favorite pre-order bonuses of all time :)

Second is a Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior figure I picked up at a local Comicon two years ago. She is the female heroine from Dragon Quest IV. I have another one from this series that I will try to photograph soon :)

Hai!

Hello and welcome to my new blog! This blog will be a showcase of my love for video games amongst other things. I will be featuring video game and movie previews and reviews as well as sharing my video game collection with you. I will try to do regular updates on the new additions to my collections and how I'm liking them. Since I also love photography I will also feature photos of my video game and video game related memorabilia collection. I really hope you enjoy this blog and that you will follow me in this new endeavor.

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself first. I am 32 yr old gamer girl from Puerto Rico. My passion for gaming started very early when I was about 5 years old and I would sneak into my oldest brother's room to beg for a little time with his Commodore 64. At that age I discovered the Chuck Rock games, Congo Bongo, Jungle hunt, Spy VS. Spy, Root Beer Tapper, amongst many more gems. I would also pester my brothers to let me play their old Atari 2600 to the point of driving them insane XD It wasn't until about 1985-6 that I finally got my very own console in the form of the beloved NES. It was then that I really got hooked on video games and I have kept playing ever since. In the span of these roughly 25 years of gaming I have owned and played on many more consoles and portables. I've mainly been a Nintendo and Sony fan since I gave away and sold all my Sega consoles from my youth and then when I met my now husband (at a Gamestop of all places) I turned to the Microsoft (or as I call it the dark side). Between both of us we have quite the console and game collection and that is what I hope to share with you guys here. I will be showing you vids of all my games and reviews as well as vlogs on my you-tube account as well here:
